Thai visas & work permits for Lithuanian citizens
Lithuanian citizens can visit Thailand visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism from 15 September 2026. Lithuanian nationals commonly use the DTV for remote work, the retirement visa or the marriage visa, and employees need a Non-B with a work permit. Lithuania is an Apostille Convention party.

Do documents from Lithuania need an apostille or legalisation?
Lithuania is a party to the Apostille Convention. Thailand acceded on 30 June 2026 and the Convention enters into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027; until then documents from Lithuania still need Thai embassy legalisation, and from that date an apostille is expected to suffice.
