Thai visas & work permits for Singaporean citizens

Singaporeans can enter Thailand visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism, and the land-border twice-a-year limit does not apply to them. Executives use the Non-B, BOI work permit or LTR; investors set up companies with BOI privileges. Singapore is an Apostille Convention party.

Do documents from Singapore need an apostille or legalisation?

Singapore is a party to the Apostille Convention. Thailand acceded on 30 June 2026 and the Convention enters into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027; until then documents from Singapore still need Thai embassy legalisation, and from that date an apostille is expected to suffice.
