Thai language study and Muay Thai training require a course-specific immigration assessment. A school or gym accepting payment does not establish that it can sponsor a Non-ED application, and the permitted sponsoring framework may differ between language education and sports training.
Some genuine training plans may instead fit the Destination Thailand Visa activity route. That is not the same as an education visa: sponsorship evidence, stay conditions and extensions must be assessed under the selected route rather than mixed together.
What we handle
- Verify the provider's ability to support the proposed category.
- Assess curriculum, timetable and genuine participation.
- Compare education and qualifying activity routes.
- Prepare visa and course-linked extension evidence.
How the process works

Provider check
Review licences, approvals and the provider's proposed visa documents.
Step 2
Route selection
Match the training purpose and travel plan to the correct category.
Step 3
Application
Prepare enrolment, course, financial and jurisdiction evidence.
Step 4
Participation
Maintain attendance records and review extensions before permission expires.

Why are applications refused, and how do we prepare?
| Common refusal reason | How we prepare |
|---|---|
| The provider cannot support the selected visa category | We review the programme's approvals and distinguish education sponsorship from a qualifying DTV activity. |
| Course records do not establish genuine participation | We check the timetable, enrolment evidence and attendance records relevant to the application. |
Counsel's note
Avoid programmes marketed primarily as a way to remain in Thailand without attending. The provider's approvals and the issuing mission's current requirements must be checked before committing to a course.
